Alibre Face connects Grasshopper to an open Alibre Design part. The listing credits stephensmitchell and describes a free, proprietary plugin.

Install

1. In Rhino 8, run GrasshopperFolders and choose Components.
2. Place AlibreFaceGH.gha and AlibreX.dll together in that folder.
3. Open each file's Windows Properties and enable Unblock if available.
4. Restart Rhino.

First use

1. Keep Alibre Design running with an .AD_PRT part open.
2. Run Grasshopper in Rhino, then double-click the canvas and search for Alibre Face.
3. Place the component and connect an integer slider to Face Index.
4. Choose a face and inspect its geometry in the Rhino viewport.

Constraints

Face numbering starts at 1. Curved faces are unsupported. Keep the Alibre session open while using the component.
